More Filipinos Visit Japan in Early 2025

TOKYO – The number of Filipino tourists visiting Japan rose in the first quarter of 2025, with an estimated 211,200 arrivals, a 5.2% increase compared to the same period last year, according to data released by the Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO).

The figure is part of the 10.54 million foreign visitors recorded from January to March.

The Philippines ranked eighth among top inbound tourism markets, following South Korea, China, Taiwan, the United States, Hong Kong, Thailand and Australia. - FJJ
