TOKYO – Japan welcomed 46,600 visitors from the Philippines in September, the highest number ever recorded for that month, according to data released Wednesday by the Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO).

Japan’s capital reclaimed the top spot in the U.S. edition rankings for the sixth time, having previously won the title from 2016 to 2019, and again in 2021.

TOKYO – The leaders of Japan and the Philippines held informal talks on the sidelines of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Summit and Related Meetings in Laos on Oct. 10, as the nations aim to strengthen their relationship.

The film’s lead actor, Paul Mescal, will visit Japan for the first time for the premiere, accompanied by co-stars Denzel Washington, Fred Hechinger, and Connie Nielsen, as well as producers Douglas Wick and Lucy Fisher.
