TOKYO/MANILA – The Philippines is expected to benefit from Japan’s planned $10 billion support package aimed at strengthening energy security and supply stability across Asia.

TOKYO – The number of Filipino nationals residing in Japan increased to 356,579 at the end of 2025, up 15,061 from the previous year, according to data released by the Immigration Services Agency.

TOKYO/MANILA – Filipinos’ strong trust in Japan, as shown in a recent survey conducted in the Philippines, is also reflected in the experiences of many Pinoys living and working in the country.

MANILA – President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Tuesday congratulated Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi on her decisive election victory and reaffirmed the Philippines’ commitment to deepening ties with Japan.
