Gabbi Garcia: The 'Millennial It Girl' Slays the Game

By Len Armea

At first glance, Kapuso star Gabbi Garcia appears to have it all figured out. With a thriving career spanning 11 years, the stunning morena beauty has successfully made her mark in Philippine showbiz industry. From her breakout role as Sang’gre Alena in the 2015 series “Encantadia” to her ventures in hosting, fashion, and digital influence, the multi-hyphenate star continues to prove that she is more than just a pretty face.

While Gabbi seems to have it all together, building a successful showbiz career didn’t come easy for the 26-year-old actress. She has navigated the ups and downs of showbiz, patiently auditioning for roles, moving in and out of love teams, establishing herself as a solo artist, securing both local and global endorsements, and embracing the “Millennial It Girl” tag.

By understanding the ins and outs of the business and embracing self-empowerment, Gabbi has paved the way for herself to make wise career decisions and take full control of her own narrative.

“I feel the most empowered when I make my own decisions. I am a very outspoken person, I am not afraid to say yes or no to a lot of things. Whenever I make my own decisions, I feel like I am always in control of my life,” she said in media conference held on March 19 in Quezon City for her new series, “Slay.”

Having found her footing in showbiz, she is now juggling projects left and right.
