MANILA – The Japanese government’s disaster relief goods to the Philippines, in light of the devastation brought about by Typhoon Odette, arrived in the country's capital on Dec. 23, the Japan Embassy announced.

TOKYO – The Japanese government on Tuesday banned new entries into Japan by non-resident foreigners from around the world in an attempt to prevent the spread of the Omicron variant of COVID-19 in the country.

MANILA – Fully vaccinated Filipinos and foreign nationals with or without negative PCR test taken 72 hours prior to departure from Japan are required to undergo facility-based quarantines, swabbing and self-monitoring for COVID-19 symptoms.
