TOKYO – The Philippine Embassy in Japan, through the Tourism Office and Cultural Section, continues its collaboration with Hard Rock Café and Tony Roma’s to promote the rich culinary heritage of the Philippines as the Filipino nation celebrates the 126th Anniversary of the Proclamation of Philippine Independence this June.
Following the enthusiastic reception of previous Filipino menu offerings, Hard Rock Café and Tony Roma’s will once again feature a curated menu inspired by traditional Filipino dishes. This gastronomic celebration will include favorites such as chicken and baby back ribs inasal, pork lumpia, and inihaw na hipon over rice.
These specially designed dishes will be available for a limited time, inviting food enthusiasts and cultural aficionados to experience the unique tastes of the Philippines. The menu will be offered from June 1 to 30 at the Hard Rock Café Roppongi branch and from June 2 to 30 at all Tony Roma’s branches nationwide.
“We are delighted to continue our partnership with Hard Rock Café and Tony Roma’s Roppongi in showcasing the flavors of Filipino cuisine in Tokyo,” said Philippine Ambassador to Japan Mylene Garcia-Albano. “We warmly invite everyone to join us in savoring these Filipino dishes and celebrate Filipino culinary artistry and the warm friendship between our nations.”
The collaboration between the Embassy and the restaurants has been thriving for three years, starting with the “Eats More Fun in the Philippines” campaign in 2021. Since then, the chicken inasal plate has become a mainstay on Hard Rock Café Roppongi’s lunch menu.
