MANILA – The Department of Tourism (DOT) announced that 73,159 Japanese tourists visited the Philippines in the first two months of the year.
As of March 5, the country welcomed 1,227,815 foreign visitors, with Japanese tourists making up 5.96 percent of the overall arrivals, as reported by the DOT. This places Japan as the fourth largest tourism source market for the Philippines, following South Korea, United States, and China. - Florenda Corpuz
