TOKYO – Japan welcomed 46,600 visitors from the Philippines in September, the highest number ever recorded for that month, according to data released Wednesday by the Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO).

Japan’s capital reclaimed the top spot in the U.S. edition rankings for the sixth time, having previously won the title from 2016 to 2019, and again in 2021.

TOKYO – The “Love the Philippines” tourism campaign, led by the Philippine Department of Tourism (DOT), received the Jury’s Special Award at the recently held Tourism EXPO Japan 2024.

TOKYO – The Land of the Rising Sun attracted close to half a million visitors from the Philippines during the first eight months of 2024, according to preliminary data from the Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO).
