TOKYO – Japan has emerged as the top choice for a multitude of Filipino celebrities in search of a memorable and festive holiday getaway with their families, friends, and loved ones.
Leading the pack was Pambansang Kamao Manny Pacquiao, who, accompanied by his wife Jinkee and their children Michael, Princess, Quennie, and Israel, embarked on a delightful exploration of Tokyo’s popular tourist spots. From the bustling streets of Shibuya to the upscale district of Omotesando and the upscale shopping haven of Ginza, the Pacquiao family immersed themselves in the vibrant atmosphere of the Japanese capital. Their holiday escapade was a perfect blend of cultural immersion and leisure, featuring visits to famous landmarks, delectable culinary experiences, and engaging activities.
Global fashion icon Heart Evangelista and her husband, Senator Chiz Escudero, along with their family, joyfully explored the streets of Tokyo, indulging in leisurely walks and delightful dining experiences, among other activities. The power couple also took time to visit the enchanting Tokyo DisneySea.
“Japan… always and always so much fun,” the actress wrote on her Instagram.
Soon-to-be-married couple Bea Alonzo and Dominic Roque had a delightful time in Hokkaido, exploring places such as Mount Moiwa, Otaru, Sapporo Clock Tower, and Odori Park. The lovebirds also enjoyed an exhilarating skiing experience in Niseko.
“Japan will never get old for us. After all, it is where our love story began,” the Kapuso actress shared on her Instagram.
The Gutierrez family celebrated the holidays by bonding over food, shopping, and leisurely strolls in Tokyo, with Eddie Gutierrez and his wife Annabelle Rama at the forefront. They were joined by their children Ruffa Gutierrez, accompanied by her two daughters Lorin and Venice; Elvis Gutierrez, who was there with his wife and two kids; and Richard Gutierrez.
“Sayonara for now, but we will definitely be back,” Ruffa said in an Instagram post.
Socialite-turned-vlogger Small Laude explored some of Tokyo’s popular places, such as Ginza and Omotesando, with her husband Philip and children.
New gen phenomenal Kapamilya actress and singer Belle Mariano was also in Japan, visiting Tokyo Disneyland and experiencing attractions like the “Enchanted Tale of Beauty and the Beast.”
Kapuso power couple Jennylyn Mercado and Dennis Trillo, along with their children, relished their time at Tokyo DisneySea and Odaiba.
