Number of Filipino Tourists Visiting Japan Back to 80% of Pre-Pandemic Levels in January

TOKYO – Roughly 29,700 visitors from the Philippines arrived in Japan in January, which is 82.5% of what was recorded for the same month in 2019 before the novel coronavirus pandemic began, according to a preliminary report published by the Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO) on Wednesday.
