MANILA/TOKYO – The governments of the Philippines and Japan have recently inked an agreement for the acquisition of five additional 97-meter class patrol vessels for the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG).

Japan remains a top choice for Filipino tourists, with approximately 68,500 visitors from the Philippines recorded in April.

The Philippines was among the exhibitors at the International Wellness Tourism Expo that took place at Tokyo Big Sight from May 8 to 10.
