TOKYO – Japan has administered more than 185 million novel coronavirus vaccinations across the country since it started its inoculation program in mid-February this year.

MANILA/TOKYO – President Rodrigo Duterte on Tuesday expressed his gratitude to Japan for its donation of about two million doses of AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine.

TOKYO – Japan will supply the Philippines with an additional two million doses of the novel coronavirus vaccine developed by British drug giant AstraZeneca PLC, Japanese Foreign Minister Toshimitsu Motegi said in a press conference last Friday.

MANILA – Japan has donated two metric tons of pre-cooked rice to the Philippines as part of its novel coronavirus relief efforts to the country, the Japan Embassy in Manila said on Tuesday.
