MANILA/TOKYO – He’s been almost everywhere with the crew of “Biyahe ni Drew (BND)”.
But according to Drew Arellano, Japan will always have a special place in his heart.
The Kapuso host revealed that he has many great moments in the “Land of the Rising Sun” with and without his BND crew and family.
“Andiyan ‘yung Niseko, we always love to be around snow, to do snow-related activities, sarap ng feeling eh,” he told Filipino-Japanese Journal via Kapuso PR Girl.
“Kahit saan ka pumunta sa Japan, we always enjoy eating the food kahit sa convenience store lang, actually. Enjoy na kami sa convenience store lang,” he continued.
Arellano also shared his impressions about the country.
“The place is always clean, kahit saan kami magpunta, the people are so nice,” he said.
“I just wanna go there once or twice a year with my friends and family. We can feature another town there because hindi naman mawawalan ng mga places to feature there. So yeah, I love Japan. It’s Ja-Fun,” he enthused.
Drew, through his award-winning travel and adventure program BND, has taken viewers to various Japanese destinations such as Osaka, Sapporo, Kyoto and Okinawa. - Florenda Corpuz
