TOKYO – The Filipino-Japanese Journal (FJJ) is returning to print on Aug. 24. The magazine's print issue was temporarily halted in April due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
"We are optimistic that with our readers’ and advertisers’ support, we can keep our publication running so thousands more in the Filipino-Japanese community can have free access to news they deserve during this time of crisis," FJJ Editor-in-Chief Florenda Corpuz said in her editor's note.
"In this comeback issue of FJJ, we have summarized some of our most important stories from our five-month coverage," she added.
FJJ, a publication of D&D Press Japan, is originally a blog site that features entertainment and lifestyle news. It has been a source of information, particularly to Filipinos in Japan, for the past nine years. Its first print issue was launched in February 2016. - FJJ
