TOKYO – Japan will begin accepting pre-arranged small group tours from the United States, Australia, Thailand and Singapore as a trial later this month, the Japan Tourism Agency said in a press release on Tuesday.
Only foreign visitors from the four countries who have received three doses of a COVID-19 vaccine will be able to participate.
Participants are also required to have private medical insurance.
The trial run will be conducted before the Japanese government decides on the full resumption of international tourism. - Florenda Corpuz
