TOKYO/MASSACHUSETTS – Moderna, Inc. on Friday confirmed it was in talks with the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare of Japan (MHLW) to potentially supply 40 million or more doses of mRNA-1273, the U.S. biotechnology company’s vaccine candidate against the new coronavirus.

MANILA/TOKYO – President Rodrigo Duterte said Saturday the Philippines’ ties with Japan have “greatly flourished” during Prime Minister Shinzo Abe’s term.

The Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Japan (PCCIJ) partners with The Filipino Channel (TFC) and ABS-CBN Lingkod Kapamilya Foundation Inc. (ALKFI) for the latter’s public service campaign, “Pantawid ng Pag-ibig.”
