MANILA/TOKYO – Tourist arrivals from the Philippines to Japan in July increased by 36.9 percent compared to the same month in the pre-pandemic year of 2019, according to an initial report released recently by the Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO).
The Philippines registered approximately 51,700 tourist arrivals in Japan, the highest in Southeast Asia.
