TOKYO – Japan has witnessed a surge in tourism from the Philippines, with an estimated 200,800 Filipino visitors exploring the country in the first quarter of 2024, according to data released by the Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO).

TOKYO – Japan witnessed a significant surge in tourist arrivals from the Philippines in February, with numbers almost double compared to the same period in the pre-pandemic year of 2019.

MANILA – The Department of Tourism (DOT) announced that 73,159 Japanese tourists visited the Philippines in the first two months of the year.
